The Capital Global Abundant Income Fund of Fund seeks stable income and capital growth by investing in funds and ETs globally and has delivered consistent performance since its launch in 2015.

The Manager articulates a straightforward asset allocation process driven by macroeconomic research and its fundamental reviews of external funds and ETFs.

As a fund of funds, an essential aspect of portfolio selection meets various fund management companies to vet their investment processes and investment philosophy. Allied to this, the Manager determines portfolio weightings and risk levels by using a composite indicator of overall economic fundamentals, market liquidity, and volatility.

Having determined a market view, the portfolio will be adjusted within its restricted asset scopes, such as increased exposure to convertibles or high-yield debt or government bonds and money market funds depending on risk appetite.

The fund has experienced limited drawdowns and has conducted stress tests on its investment approach, although it does not consider ESG factors. It has delivered strong performance with net returns of more than 301 points above the benchmark on a 1Y and 3Y period.

This fund has been reviewed by three industry veterans of the Benchmark judging committee.
