With an instrument that brings a hard-to-access investment class to domestic investors in Taiwan, the KGI 10+Year Em Mkt USD Investment Grade Bond ETF is awarded Outstanding Achiever in the Taiwanese Fixed Income ETF category.

The ETF tracks the Bloomberg Barclays EM USD Sovereign + Quasi-Sov Baa 10+ Year 15% Country Cap Index and is passively managed. The Index compiler is well regarded with a well-diversified mix of the global emerging market investment-grade bonds, weighted by market value.

The ETF is relatively new in 2018 and has achieved solid tracking with a R2 above 85% in the past 12 months. The ETF cost is lower than the average by between 0-5 basis points, and the average bid-ask spread between 0.25%-0.5% Assets under management have increased by more than 30% in the past year and are currently at 38.9 bn TWD.

This ETF has been reviewed by four industry veterans of the Benchmark judging committee.
